Many people go for shopping without deciding beforehand what they planned to buy. This is because of 2 reasons, one is that they have plenty of spare time at their disposal and they want to use the leisure time doing something “productive”. The second reason is they want to pick up anything that they might see which will be useful to them, from the shops. Therefore they do not mind visiting many shops and looking at all the things under display. It is possible that they may come back without buying anything.A person who goes for shopping for leisure will not throw away money unless he has specific need for the object. It is also possible that they have a particular product in mind but will, not be satisfied, even if the item is available in the shop they visit first. Many shops will be visited for the same product making comparisons about brand names, quality, price warranty etc.For some people window shopping gives a lot of pleasure. This is a good way of spending their spare time. They stand in front of display windows, and make mental notes about the details. The information stored in mind will be used later if the same item is required.
